Every fall at the Ed Weed Fish Culture Station, an ancient cycle returns as salmon and trout follow their timeless instincts back to their ancestral spawning grounds. Our fish culturists then step in to collect their eggs, protect genetics, and ensure these fish will return again. Landlocked Atlantic Salmon spawning operations are well underway at Ed Weed.
