In addition to the dinosaur bones, teeth and footprints found in the 140 million year old rocks around Cliff End, Pett, we also find chelonian remains (basically turtles). This example comes from a type of soft shelled freshwater turtle. The rock was very hard so I used a dremel tool to prepare this specimen. It is one of my favourite finds from the area.
