WEATHER UPDATE: The country is likely to experience less rains today, July 17, 2023, after the former Typhoon Dodong exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) last Saturday, July 15. Currently, it is located 825 km west of extreme Northern Luzon and is no longer affecting parts of the country. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA) is currently monitoring a low pressure area (LPA) outside PAR. It is expected to enter the country today.
