Here’s a slow-mo demonstration of how energy beam twists work. One hand leads, painting a shape through the air. The other hand does a very subtle motion which allows the shape you’ve just painted to swing around to the other side. In this clip I alternate between painting an upward curve and a downward curve, leading first with my left hand, and then later with my right, and so on.
