One thing about life is that we never stop learning. But sometimes, the lessons come the hard way. This was one of those moments. Whenever I collect Ball Python eggs, I usually check the cloaca to see if the female is done laying. But this experience taught me that checking only the cloaca isn’t enough. One large egg was stuck about 5 to 6 inches further up, and I didn’t notice it right away. It was a close call. If we hadn’t removed it in time, it could have cost her life. Let this be a reminde
