In this week's CHM Supersound 'Throw Back Thursday' we celebrate our independence with a classic evergreen golden hit from the 90s by PNG's top iconic group, Barike Band. Barike, meaning "Ating" (as in Pidgin) in Kuanua vernacular reflects the band's earlier uncertainty of how popular they would become. They became a hit from the mid 80's with the Late John wong as their lead singer, with hits 'Honiara Nil', 'Waikiki Tamure', Bing Bing Lui' and many more that shot them to stardom, to being one o
