Not a weasel. Not an otter. Meet the jaguarundi, the cat that forgot it’s a cat. Long and low, it slips along branches like smoke, hunting by daylight and talking in chirps and whistles. Colors run from slate gray to rusty cinnamon, which is why it’s nicknamed the “otter cat” (and “eyra” in parts of Latin America).
