Today I am working on an 1860s corset. I don’t want to draft my own so I am using one from Red Threaded. To mark my lines for sewing I am using my light box to transfer my lines to each pattern piece. I use Pilot Frixion pens when I am sewing to mark my lines on cotton fabrics. When you apply heat the markings fade (please note on silks the outline may still be visible). BUT when there is cold weather or cold air (if the clothing is traveling in the cargo of an airplane) the lines sometimes reap
