“My Handwriting isn’t good, can I still learn Calligraphy?” That’s the kind of question I get all the time. Well, there is a straight answer to this and that is YES and having a good handwriting is definitely a plus. You MIGHT learn the approach a bit quicker. That’s literally it. The pens that we use in calligraphy is far different than what’s used for handwriting so it has zero to minimal effect on learning and practicing calligraphy.
