Microsoft is adding the Python programming language to Microsoft Excel, allowing users to create powerful functions for analyzing and manipulating data.
With this new feature, users can type in Python code in the Excel app. The calculations are then run on a Microsoft cloud server and are returned to the Excel app, with plots and visualizations.
This will enable users to perform complex statistical analysis, advanced visualizations, predictive analytics, and machine learning in Excel.
