Women from throughout Mitchell County met at the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Building in Osage on on Feb. 27, to participate in a cattle workshop relating to the topic of calving.

One of northwest Alabama's biggest economic engines isn't a steel and glass edifice populated by men and women in business attire.

Cow Camp 2025, a hands-on educational experience for women in beef production, will be held Sept. 10-11 in Hays.

They are all pictures of women doing everyday activities: a woman on a street, a woman playing the piano in her home, a woman lounging in a boat, a woman at a table in a restaurant.

The Barn Bazaar is free. If you can’t make it this weekend ( Hoopfest got ya tied up?), Two Women runs a shop in their barn. And, they’ll yet again host a fall show, on Sept. 19 and 20 this year.

The photographs aim to highlight violence against women in India, while also drawing attention to a wave of attacks in the name of cow protection.
