Next we connected the water flow sensor’s output to the Arduino board (filled with the sketch) and allowed water flow through the water flow sensor at a steady rate of about 1 Litre/minute.

This sensor contains a nine-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) that detects how far you’ve twisted, turned or tilted the handle, and uses that information to estimate the amount of water flow.
