In a very rare stroke of luck, 11 winning million-dollar Powerball tickets were drawn in Louisiana last week, according to state lottery organizers. Six people won $2 million in the April 29 drawing and another five people won $1 million. Ten of the winning tickets were listed as unclaimed as of Tuesday.

Missouri Lottery officials are asking Powerball players to check their tickets after a recent drawing. An unclaimed $1 million winning ticket was sold last month in St. Charles County.
