Air conditioning is one of those modern wonders that's nice to graft into our classic hot rods. Yeah, you could get A/C from the factory back in the '60s, but by today's standards it comes up lacking.

I think the drive is the problem. Some drives have issues with newer anti-copy schemes (like SafeDisc) and such. Try installing the spare and see if that fixes it. If not, you may have bum discs.
