A police dog died Sunday in Georgia, after being left alone inside of her handler's hot patrol car without a working air conditioning system, authorities said.

State troopers no longer share information in the Signal chat, Colorado State Patrol Chief Matthew Packard said in a statement Wednesday.

A suspect is in Channahon Police Department custody after a police chase through Homer Township and Joliet, IL, the Will County Sheriff's Office said.
