I am trying to fix an HP Pavilion A610E, running WinXP SP3. The Recycle Bin icon on the desktop shows that there are files in it, and when I right-click it, it does give me the option to empty.

A program I installed was installed into a directory name that ended with a space. I deleted the dir, but it went to my Recycle Bin. Now the Bin refuses to empty out completely because of the invalid ...
